What you will get to do:

A Senior Architect is a lead or technical manager within the project team. In addition (s)he evaluates new technologies within Fluido, Infosys & Salesforce ecosystem and acts as an evangelist for these. (S)he designs a technical architecture solution that may span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems. The Senior Architect manages the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale. Articulates design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical architecture.

A Lead Architect is a thought leader within the Fluido / Infosys team with advanced social and mentoring skills. In his/her function a Lead Architect coaches a group of architects assigned to him/her and supports them as a mentor in their personal and professional development. (S)he supports project staffing and resource management activities by being constantly aware of team activities and ongoing projects.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Evaluate new technologies and act as an evangelist for these within Fluido / Infosys as well as at customers
  • Act as a customer-facing role and contact point for the development team internally
  • Understand the purpose of the solution from a business point of view – present and communicate technical topics to people without a technical background
  • Act as a bridge between the business and development team(s) by translating business requirements into a software design
  • Develop end-to-end solution plan and, depending on the project organization, act as a technical lead for the project
  • Create technical specifications and contribute to the functional specification
  • Support Sales during the pre-sales phase and calculate implementation efforts
  • Cooperate with the project manager and support him/her during the test phase by identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring technical quality of the delivery
  • Consult the Salesforce / Force.com platform strategy with customer’s IT Management and Enterprise Architects
  • Act as thought leader in selected Salesforce technologies by coaching and leading other architects in complex projects
  • Own planning & project review sessions to drive best practices in a selected technology domain
  • Support service delivery leads in planning (future) workload and resource allocation
  • Drive collaboration and social environment within Fluido to spread knowledge and ensure social bonds between employees
  • Coach and mentor a group of architects assigned to him/her
  • Steer and support onboarding of new team members to ensure they know development tools, project management practices & methodology
What we are looking for:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with 8-10 years of demonstrated architect experience
  • Deep understanding of software development concepts and underlying software design patterns (in case of larger portal projects or custom Force.com applications)
  • 5+ years of experience working with solutions of the Salesforce ecosystem, understanding of integration components & technology
  • Thorough knowledge of either one or more of the following areas: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Mulesoft Integration Platform
  • Experience with tools to design and document a complex solution, define and detail out architecture, drive a project from architecture point of view
  • Solid technical foundations including APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, SQL, structured system analysis and design methods
  •  Certifications:
    • One or more of the following certifications: Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud certification
    • Salesforce.com Technical Architect certification preferred
  • Participation in the Salesforce Architect University and thorough understanding of the topics covered by it (Development Lifecycle and Deployment, Application Architecture, Apex & Visualforce / Lightning Experience, Sharing & Visibility, Integration, Data Architecture and Management, Identity and Access Management, Mobile Strategy)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Good working proficiency in local language preferred
