Elisa Automate is a startup within Elisa's international business domain and the start to a great success story. We managed to automate our own network so well that we now are offering our automation solution to operators worldwide, to help them with automation in planning, operations and optimization of radio networks. Automating fairly complex things, to be straight.

We now want you on board to help build our business since we are growing fast. Our expanding team is multi-talented and living proof of successfully combining knowhow in software design, radio technology and machine learning to achieve direct value to customers.

Now we are looking for a Software Architect to strengthen our team and help us develop our excellent product, Automation Engine. Elisa has been running closed-loop automated operations in our own network for years. We have the capability to take pretty much any customer problem and build a custom solution for it. And now we are selling this solution to customers worldwide.

In order for you to succeed in the role, we expect you to know technical stuff as well as the business stuff.

Technical stuff

You are a brilliant developer and you have been developing and planning modern microservices architecture with Python, REST, Docker and Kubernetes. Manual stuff gets into your nerves so DevOpsside of you pops out and makes sure that CI/CD pipeline is honed. You’ll also benefit knowing these: DBs (like SQL, NoSQL, Postgre, TimescaleDB), Elastic stack, Kafka, RAN and other programming languages than Python.

Business stuff

You are one of the key players helping our business to grow by working closely with the customer together with our sales team. You will serve as a bridge between the technology and the business side.

Our team

As we are a fast-growing startup, we expect you to be resilient dealing with some uncertainty and be ready to adapt in changing situations. However, as we still are part of the large corporation Elisa, we are financially secured. Our team is highly international, and our working language is English. Our young team culture is still forming and thus we like to work a lot together from the office in Pasila, Helsinki. We can of course work flexibly wherever and whenever it suits us best like the rest of the elisians.
