About this opportunity

• Leading the relationship and influencing first line interactions on Information Security topics in all jurisdictions
• Building strong stakeholder relationships, understanding the business drivers and developing a strategic capability to harmonize Information  Security Operational Risk and Compliance processes with business needs
• Demonstrating integrity and principled decision making to ensure appropriate conduct in the second- and first-line activities and maintaining a focus on customer outcomes
• Being flexible, open-minded and having strong cultural awareness
• Developing and delivering an annual Group Operational Risk plan
• Monitoring the risk profile of Information Security risks.  Plan, resource, execute, document and report on the key risks through advice, assurance and other monitoring

Who you are

• Deep technical understanding of Technology, Security and Data processes, technologies and industry practices
• Sound and competent risk assessment and fine-tuned risk judgement and ability to translate this to influence the first line's risk profile to meet risk appetite
• Thorough understanding of Banking services and the role IT plays
• English spoken & written (Superior level)
• Broad understanding of the regulatory expectations on IT, Security and Data across the EU and other relevant jurisdictions

• The following qualifications are well-regarded:
  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or business subjects
  • Relevant business qualifications such as IIA / ACA / CPA / MBA
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as ITIL, ISO27001
  • Relevant IT risk qualifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM
