Digia has a solid API team with business, methodology and technology vision. We help our customers to communicate more efficiently, to open interfaces securely to other organizations and API consumers, and to create new digital services, applications and business or even ecosystems. As the demand of our API knowledge grows, we are looking for new enthusiastic Senior API Developers to join our growing team in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku or Jyväskylä.

About your tasks

As a Senior API Developer you will design and develop APIs and integration solutions which could link to, for example, microservices, cognitive services, IoT data or AI. In your role you work as a part of the development team and share your knowledge. The most important requirements are your passion for API development, some knowledge on API tools and clouds and eagerness to constantly develop yourself with emerging new technology. Your job description will be driven by your ambitions and adjusted accordingly. You have the possibility to specialize, for example, in the areas such as security, architecture, integration solutions, artificial intelligence or consultation.

• Various cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google)
• API Management products (i.e. Apigee, IBM API Connect, WSO2 and Azure API     Management)

This is a team of constant development and growth. Developers, architects, consultants and project managers support each other, so you are never alone. With internal hackathons, retros or mob programming we learn from each other. We have a strong track record in innovation competitions. We develop high quality APIs and methods (API Canvas, APIOps® Cycles and API Audit) and enable a more DevOps culture to our customers.
