Valmet Talent Management is responsible for creating, designing and managing global talent solutions to drive high performance. Our goal is to ensure that Valmet attracts the right talent, and retains, develops and engages its employees. We offer support, advice and guidance to all Valmet organizations.

Do you want to influence how a global organization attracts and develops its talent?

We are looking for a Manager, Global Talent Management to join our small but effective global team to work on talent acquisition and development. Your days are filled with tasks varying from operational hands on work to strategic initiatives and everything in between. You will work with your colleagues around the world in various talent management projects, which can vary from process development to creating a learning solution. You are the owner of our recruitment process and tools and play also a key role in managing our vendors. You report to VP, Talent Management.

You’ll succeed in this role if
  • You know that feeling when you have found a great match for an open role after a smooth recruitment process
  • You have experience in creating development solutions with 70/20/10 approach and measurable impact
  • You have a track record of running smaller and bigger projects efficiently
  • You’ve worked in various HR roles and know what the day of an HR Manager looks like
  • You enjoy working with various tools and analysing data. Experience with Workday is a huge advantage. 
  • You are an active user of social media and keep yourself updated on the latest tricks and best practices in your expertise area
  • You know how to use change management methodologies to ensure stakeholder buy in
  • You have nerves of steel and understand that boring routines are sometimes part of even the most exciting job
  • You are a team player who gets the biggest kicks when others succeed
  • You have the needed basics in place: suitable education (Master’s degree in relevant field), more than five years of relevant work experience, strong MS Office skills and excellent written and spoken English
