RELEX is a fast growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability and cut waste. To achieve this we use our in-house built terabyte scale in-memory database, which stores tens of billions of rows of data. To make efficient data transfers between various internal and external systems happen, we are now looking for a new full-stack developer to join our family of extraordinary people.

What you’ll be doing

You will be developing RELEX ETL tool, both front-end and backend. This consists of developing new features, of writing high-level designs for them and of developing deployment and monitoring of the tool. You’ll be working in a small, diverse, team of eight developers. Tech-wise our front-end stack is modern Javascript with static typing communicating through JSON API with a Spring Boot-based backend written in Kotlin.

What we expect of you

• You have five or more years of hands-on experience in software development
• Experience on at least one modern frontend and backend framework
• Experience on databases
• Disciplined and professional attitude towards software quality
• Interest in learning new things
• Good spoken and written English
• Ability to work on-site in our Helsinki office, with flexible remote work possibilities
