We, in Detection and Response R&D (DRRD) unit, are looking for a Senior Manager, Sensors. Our unit builds technologies for detection and continuous response against the most advanced cyber-attacks out there. The technologies we build are sold to different market segments in different forms -- either as pure-play software or as managed services.

Your role is to lead the development of sensors, components and agents that collect raw event data from endpoint, networks, and services. These sensors have very high performance and security requirements. Sensors are not developed in isolation: You will particularly need to work in perfect synchronization with the backends consuming the events, with threat analysts working with the data you provide, and with Data Scientists building machine learning on the feed that the sensors generate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of various sensors for endpoints, networks, and services
• Domain-specific competence development of sensor development engineers across multiple sites

What we expect

• Previous experience of leading teams of software engineers using agile methodologies
• Previous line management experience
• Experience with client-side software development on Linux, Mac and/or Windows
• Knowledge of low-level operating system concepts
• Knowledge of network protocols and networking software
• Understanding of best practices in quality engineering
• Team player with strong leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
