We are currently looking for an inspiring leader to join us as Manager, Product Development in Kuopio or Oulu.

Together with your colleagues and the Head of Product Development in Healthcare you are responsible for accelerating the time to market and building a solid foundation to create high quality products for our customers.

We are currently creating a DevOps vision for the unit and you will be a key player to make this happen together with the rest of the team.

You will be leading a team consisting of around 35 developers and/or specialist and your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coaching the team, empowering them to take the next step in their career
• Developing capabilities within the team, attracting new talent and building a network of subcontractors
• Ensuring that we have the right people in the right places at the right time, and making sure our goals are reached
• Building relationships inside the organization to enable a strong culture of cooperation
• Being an agile coach for you team assuring that our Agile/DevOps vision is reached
• Organizing and appointing key roles in the development organization together with other team managers

We expect

You are an inspiring and open minded leader with experience in people management in SW product development. You have good understanding of SW engineering and insights into the craftsmanship of designing SW.

As the unit will be in a transformation process it is important that you thrive in a changing environment and actively participate in driving the change process – and of course guide and support your team in the change.

You are the ideal candidate for this position if you have a strong drive combined with a proactive way of working. As a leader you are genuinely interested in your team and the team’s success. You are easy to work with and being a collaborative team player is natural for you.
