We are looking for two Design Engineers to strengthen our plant engineering design team. You will be responsible for various project management and design engineering tasks. The location will be in Harjavalta.

• Participate in plant, equipment, steel construction, layout and pipework design at our customers' plant
• Participate in customers' investment and change work planning (pre-planning, analysis, schedule, cost estimations and preparation of alternative solutions)
• Provide technical assistance for customer proposals and act as a technical expert in a negotiation phase
• Take care of co-operation with the customer’s operations and maintenance departments.
• Ensure smooth co-operation in different phases of the designing process
• Participate in construction supervision during the project implementation, and act as a technical expert in equipment delivery and commissioning

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, you might be also newly graduated
• Few years of experience in plant, equipment, steel construction and pipework planning
• Flexibility and ability to take different tasks depending on customer needs
• Experience in plant design in metallurgical or chemical industry
• Knowledge of chemical industry’s plastic and other special materials
• Strong know-how of CAD-programs, 3D Design, MicroStation, Solidworks and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Good negotiation, co-operation and communication skills
• Fluency in Finnish and English (written and oral)
