We are now looking for a

Performance Tester to join IoT Integration Testing Team

In this role you will work in a team focused on enabling the organization to validate IoT product quality using automated tools. You will work on a common backlog with the team, while empowering the team to apply performance testing practices in an automated manner. You will have an opportunity to grow with the team and give your expertise to support the team achievements.

Position is in IoT Integration Testing team and will give you unique opportunities to work with embedded devices as well as cloud. KONE will offer you a challenging position in a highly innovative global environment. This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland.

You have an ability to communicate to various audiences and you can both deal with big picture as well as with details when so required. You work at your best when you are working with people and you enjoy helping others.

Responsibilities

-Building capability to ensure that our products meet the set requirements, in order to maintain the confidence to release high quality products.

-Ensuring that our products are able to perform at intended performance levels with the planned usage

-Collaborating with development teams and production teams to ensure a process of continuous improvement for our IoT products and development processes.

-Participate in continuous integration framework development and integrating performance testing needs for CICD using tools like JMeter, Jenkins etc.

-Expand our existing performance test framework and test coverage.

Requirements                                                            

-Minimum of 4 years of Performance Testing experience

-B.Sc. or M. Sc in computer science (or equivalent)

-Experience in applying performance testing practices via automated tools

-Experience in IoT and Cloud computing

-Understanding of web technologies and APIs

-Experience in test planning and test case design

-Experience in Python, Java or other scripting language

F-ocus and determination to debug problems and to figure out root causes of problems

-Enthusiasm to improve and develop testing methods

-Strong hands-on expertise on JMeter

-Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment / methodology

-Experience in profiling & debugging performance issues in large scale distributed systems
