In your role as Cloud Developer you are responsible for the design, development and maintenance of a modern cloud-based platform that supports the evolution of our products. You understand business strategies and you are able to align your work to meet broader business requirements. You work in collaborative manner with the other developers, architects, the development teams and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in computer science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience developing and designing scalable, distributed, customer facing web applications using microservices
• Several years of experience in system architecting and working with internal business leads to develop solutions
• Deep understanding of Cloud based software development, microservices, and cloud-oriented CI/CD pipelines
• Professional experience using a range of technologies including C#/.NET, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular JS or similar JavaScript frameworks
• Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, ServiceFabric, and other container-related technologies
• Good command of English 
• You are analytical, communicative and focused. You work structured and have an eye for details. In addition, you can express and sell your ideas.
• You are used to working independently, open to discussing ideas and solutions with your colleagues.
• You thrive in an international work environment and in cultivating your contacts with partners in Europe and overseas. This position will require some international travel to other Varian sites in the USA, Canada, Europre and India.
