Are you the passionate and forward-minded workstation and mobile device lifecycle management service expert who helps us to take the next step in the rapidly digitalizing global business environment? To strengthen End User Computing operations in Valmet we are looking for IT Service Manager to lead Lifecycle Management Services and develop it forward.
In this expert position your primary focus will be on workstation and mobile device Lifecycle Management Services management and further development in a global space. You promote end user computing lifecycle management utilization opportunities in accordance with our internal and business offering development roadmap and support development of new IT solutions to the market through our global development programs.
You will be responsible for coordinating global activities in areas including:
IT service management, lifecycle management services utilizing Microsoft technologies like System Center Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot and other workstation and phone management and security technologies.
Your daily tasks include the following:
- Service management & development
- Change management
- Problem management
- Vendor management
- Project management
- Budgeting and invoice management of own service area
Requirements:
To be successful in this position you should have skills/knowledge on following areas:
- Good inter-personal, communication and presentation skills; a good Team player
- You establish and maintain fit for purpose and relevant communications and relationship both with business and technical people
- Capability and ease to simplify complex topics and document in clear structured matter
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Skillful understanding of ITIL Fundamentals and processes
- Solid understanding of management processes for workstations and mobile devices
- Service Management
- Vendor management
- Project Management
- Mobile Device Management: Intune
- Deep understanding of Operating Systems: Windows 10, iOS, Android. Distributing and management of apps in all listed platforms.
- Engaging attitude towards new technology
We expect you to have a technical degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics or related field. Location for this position can be any major Valmet location.
