We are now looking for a

Connectivity SW Architect

In this role, you will join our SW development experts at the KONE Services & Solutions R&D, Hyvinkää Finland as a Connectivity SW Architect. You will work together with other software professionals to develop advanced KONE digital solutions that leverage the latest in cloud and connectivity technologies.

You are a software development expert who is passionate about system architectures and solution patterns. You can bring the plans to life and turn architectural visions to reality. You have an ability to communicate to various audiences and you can both deal with big picture as well as with details. You work at your best when you are working with people and you enjoy helping others.

Responsibilities

-Owning connectivity SW architectures

-Owning the interfaces in the IoT connectivity boundaries

-Defining system and SW architectures for connectivity solutions

-Hosting architecture board meetings

-Specifying and defining technical requirements

-Interact with the HW teams to ensure the compatibility of SW and HW

-Find solutions and seek compromises that fit to system thinking

-Find synergies and unify our connectivity SW solutions

-Communicating with development teams and 3rd parties about connectivity initiatives

Requirements                                                            

-MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

-Proven track record of managing complex SW architectures

-Excellent understanding of embedded programming

-Good understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google or IBM Watson)

-Work experience from Linux based systems

-Good communication and presentation skills in English

-Ability to guide developers in architectural and code-related matters

-Experience from software development with Agile process

-Knowledge about telecom technologies e.g. 4G, 5G is a great benefit

-Knowledge about wireless connectivity solutions is seen as a great benefit
