VTT – beyond the obvious.

With us you will be responsible for

Building setups for reflectance measurement in the near and mid-infrared wavelength region. Development of measurement and calibration procedure and software. Measurement of reflectance for a large number of recycled plastic samples, and data analysis.

We expect you to have

A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, or engineering. Knowledge in optics and spectroscopy is preferred. Experience with measurement software development and data analysis would be beneficial, as would competence with Matlab and LabVIEW. Proficiency in English or Finnish is essential.

Highly motivated and committed to your project. You have the skills to work in co-operation with the researchers in your team and independently when required.

The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate has been found. The chosen MSc Thesis student will be paid a thesis fee instead of an employment contract.
