Quality Assurance Engineer

to join our Parcel and eCommerce division?

The Parcel and eCommerce division includes experienced developers, test engineers and other software professionals. We collaborate to deliver high quality services and solutions to our customers. We work in agile teams and have a low hierarchy at the office. As an integral part of our international team the Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the overall quality of the system under development by performing testing tasks such as reviewing and analyzing requirements, design documents, technical specifications and other test basis documents, designing and running test cases, creating regression test suites, and reporting defects.

The ideal candidate is precise, with an eye for detail and able to stay focused while working on different projects. Since you will be working closely with internal and external colleagues with very different backgrounds, we expect strong collaboration skills and an overall friendly attitude. We are flexible in the way we work and welcome different perspectives, therefore we are looking for someone with an open mind, the ability to take initiative, share their views and challenge opinions. Our projects can be very different; therefore, you are ready to work with diverse technologies and domains stretching from mobile to web applications, databases, back-end services.

Would this be you?

• A couple of years of QA testing experience (preferably within Agile teams) including functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing principles, processes and techniques
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Finnish knowledge is strongly recommended)
• Ability to design and develop test cases based on business and functional requirements ensuring sufficient test coverage
• Ability to create clear and concise testing artifacts including test execution and defect status reports

Finally, to succeed in this role you need to work in a multinational organization within virtual teams. We collaborate with our international colleagues daily and English is our official language. In addition, we appreciate if you have experience with mobile and web testing, especially with eCommerce applications.
