We are looking for a Design Engineer at ABB Oy, Smart Power Division in Vaasa. In this role, you will be responsible for product maintenance. Your task is to provide technical support for quality & production and maintain 3D-models and 2D-drawings. With us you can release your inner innovator with rapid modeling and prototype validations. Your responsibilities

Updating 3D-models and 2D-drawings. Technical support for quality and production. Be part of problem-solving group. Preparing and validating prototypes. Implementing engineering changes to production. Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree preferably from engineering or relevant field. A few years’ work experience in design. Good knowledge of cad software’s (Creo) and PLM systems (Windchill). Experience of mechanical engineering. Problem solving and team working skills. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English. Experience from machine design or mechanical movement is beneficial
