We are looking for

PROCUREMENT MANAGER

to enforce our Procurement team in Vantaa, Finland.

Your main duties will include

• Developing the procurement strategy and executing the selected strategy in the client project.
• Managing project procurement function to meet the client’s needs
• Developing and maintaining supplier relationships with suppliers
• Analyzing market conditions and negotiating with suppliers to optimize sustained value
• Managing supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation process

We are looking to find the following characteristics in our Procurement Manager

• 5+ years of experience in procurement
• Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with contractors and suppliers
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics
• Good command of the use of common software tools
• ERP (eg. SAP) database management skills are highly regarded
• Strong self-organizational skills to manage a very busy desk with dozens of parallel activities
• Good communication skills
• Desire for continuous business improvement and personal development
• Fluency in English and Finnish is essential, other languages are an advantage
• Readiness to travel and foreign assigments
• Proactive approach
