We are looking for enthusiastic junior and senior software engineers and master thesis workers with a passion for networks.We are building a new team to support Elisa’s NOC automation software development. In this team you will have a unique possibility to work with combination of zero-touch data handling and advanced machine learning models in network operations data.

Elisa Automate (www.elisaautomate.com) is developing an excellent product and now we are extending the usage of this Virtual NOC product in our own network. And to tackle this challenge, we need a new special force. The main responsibility for these persons will be making changes to the Virtual NOC product itself to ensure the deployment of rule sets to be successful. The job includes a lot of coding and understanding the network rules for possible incoming errors or problems and making predictive maintenance actions automatically.

In order for you to succeed in the role, we expect you to have good coding skills and at least some understanding of telecom networks. Knowledge about test automation, continuous integration and deployment will also help.Technology stack consists of Kotlin, MariaDB, Drools, Kubernetes and Openstack, to name a few. You also communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.

In Elisa you can work flexibly wherever and whenever it suits you best. But in the beginning, we would prefer you to be at least for a few weeks mostly in Pasila (Elisa HQ) to team up with your new colleagues and make our collaboration better.
