KONE Sourcing is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect materials and services sourcing.

We are now looking for a Sourcing Specialist to be part of KONE Supply Operation Finland Sourcing team, in Electrification Sourcing Area. This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland.

Main responsibilities:

• Managing independently all sourcing activities for KONE Supply Operations Finland  
• Driving selected strategic sourcing projects in the area of Electrification Sourcing
• Managing locally suppliers for your own area through regular steering’s and senior management interaction
• Identifying and driving new cost savings initiatives, support the Electrification factory profitability with your Sourcing Savings.
• Working closely with the rest of the Supply Operations Finland Sourcing team, EU category sourcing team, Factory, Engineering and other stakeholders to reach agreed targets.

Ideally you will have:

• B.Sc or M. Sc in business, engineering or similar
• At least five years of proven experience in strategic sourcing or equivalent experience
• Experience in leading supplier negotiation and managing supplier relationships and negotiations with local- regional and global suppliers
• Capability to work independently and effectively in multinational environment
• Understanding of electronics, electromechanical components and supply chain is considered as an asset
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Clear communication skills
• Fluent English, other languages are an asset
