The opportunity:

The Manager for cloud services supports our platforms with a team of Application Engineers. They perform deployments, configuration, administration, automation, capacity and performance tuning for these platforms. This role will define and enforce monitoring standards. They complete necessary maintenance tasks like upgrades, provide technical support and troubleshooting of application related issues. They support disaster recovery and security compliance activities.

The Manager should possess team leading skills as well as being technically savvy in an advanced level.

You are great at:

- Leading and empowering a team of application engineers and working hands-on when needed.
- Communicating effectively with other internal teams and stakeholders.
- Taking ownership and initiative to drive successful outcomes.

What it takes:

- Experience working with Windows or Linux OS systems such as Red Hat Linux.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed 3-tiered architecture application with solutions.
- Proficiency in the delivery of tested and verified solutions while adhering to SDLC and best practices.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, configuration management, and automated testing in a virtualized/containerized environment is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages such as JAVA, Python and shell scripting.
- Experience with relational and distributed database basics.
- Preparing dashboards for Performance / Capacity Management.
- Event logging, LogRhythm, Splunk, ELK, Application Performance Monitors such as App Dynamics, New Relic.
- Ability to work on-call duty.
