Wolt is looking for a Backend Engineer to join us based in Helsinki. You'd be working as a part of our Consumer Services team, who are responsible for the backend side of our consumer applications. The team makes sure we always offer the best customer experience and evolves our core customer interfaces to the next level. Our award winning consumer application needs you to help us make it better than ever!

You might be the one if you are a developer with experience of designing and building top class software and APIs. We mostly work with Python (Flask), MongoDB PostgreSQL and appreciate if you understand what it takes to build scalable software services and host them in production with these technologies. The team works closely with our web and mobile teams, who are responsible for the front ends for the same services.

This team is THE Python team in Finland if you want to write clean and exciting code with colleagues who take a lot of ownership and pride in their work together. We are looking for a team member who gets excited about building shiny features but doesn't hesitate to get their hands dirty when solving real-life production problems.

The compensation will be a negotiable combination of monthly pay and Wolt stock options. The latter make it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you'll own a piece of the pie.
