Are you that passionate and forward-minded IT development manager who drives digitalization through integration development and global roll outs?

To strengthen Valmet’s HR, Expense and QHSE IT domain operations we are looking for IT Development Manager to manage and support Workday HR and Expense integration development.  IT development manager responsibilities include also Workday Expenses global roll out IT responsibilities. QHSE domain and system knowledge is a benefit.

In this position, you will be working together with Valmet business, function stakeholders, Valmet IT and external service providers in improving business processes through integration and solution development. You will be a digitalization driving member of Valmet IT’s Business Solutions sub team; high spirited strong going and “can do” attitude Finance, HR & Reporting Solutions team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage external platform integration development and external development suppliers
  • Manage and support development projects in a way that operational efficiency and technical targets are met
  • Manage and support integration related problem solving
  • Ensure Workday Expense IT implementation support through related IT task coordination among integration development support
  • Communicating internal stakeholders and coordinating vendors, partners and other Valmet Information Technology’s teams to ensure that agreed services and actions are delivered for projects
  • Manage and support IT responsibilities on named other projects

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in information technology projects in development manager position (or similar)
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of  Workday integrations, integration development and information flow
  • Very good development and supplier management skills
  • Very good documentation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment and make things happen
  • Customer orientation and ability to understand business processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Fluent written and spoken English
