We are looking for a Solution Manager for Finance Solution Management team. The Solution Manager is primarily a part of the mergers and acquisitions project team. Team consists of professionals from different functional areas from Wärtsilä IM. Project team brings new business to Wärtsilä global platform and processes. Secondary responsible is development pipeline of services for finance related SAP applications and in cooperation with other IM parts the services to fulfil the customer’s present and new enhancement needs. This position requires travelling and flexibility in working time. 

The location for this position could be any major Wärtsilä IM location. 

Responsibilities

• Working in a project team, responsible of delivering the defined project roadmap
• Whole project lifecycle delivery: pre-study, implementation, handover
• Manage and be responsible for functional design and configurations, delivery and testing of the solution 
• Provide advanced support and consultancy in development projects
• Manage the documentation and stakeholder communication related to the own functional area

Requirements

• Understanding of SAP Financial processes and financial accounting 
    o Knowledge of and experience in SAP Finance and controlling module configuration.
    o Understanding of accounting principles
    o Ability to convert the financial business requirements to technical designs.
    o Knowhow of SAP Finance area add-ons and interfaces
• Understanding of cross module functionalities in SAP
• Independent and self-guided way of working, travelling required
• Experience in acquisition, merger, carve-our, divestment projects
• Experience in cross system data migration
• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
