We are looking for a Specialist, Analytics & Planning to join our UPM Plywood Supply Chain team. This position is located in Lahti, Finland.

UPM Plywood offers high quality WISA® plywood and veneer products for construction, vehicle flooring, LNG shipbuilding, parquet manufacturing and other industrial applications. In 2018 UPM Plywood sales was EUR 480 million and it had 2,400 employees. What you’ll do

You drive our planning development as a key user of our new planning solution and support our monthly Sales and Operation Planning actions. You’ll strive for full utilization Sales and Operation Planning solution and help us to build excellent capabilities in S&OP planning. With the help of analytics, you provide valuable insights for our Supply Chain process development.

Your main tasks:

  • Support Supply Chain Managers in monthly and weekly S&OP actions
  • Participate actively in the monthly Demand and Supply planning
  • Develop processes related to Supply Chain planning
  • Develop BI and analytical tools for Supply Chain
  • Develop stock refill planning and creation process

Who you are

  • You have a university degree in relevant field, experience in supply chain or in production planning are considered as an asset
  • You have good communication and teamwork skills
  • You are development-oriented, and your natural mindset strives for continuous improvement
  • You are familiar with modern analytics tools and have strong skills in Excel
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
