UPM Biorefining Business Area leverages the synergies of Pulp, Timber and Biofuels businesses. Focusing on growth, we create value and new business opportunities from wood and biomass originating solely from sustainable sources. Our modern production sites in Finland are closely integrated in four areas covering three pulp mills, four sawmills and a biorefinery producing wood-based renewable diesel, as well as wood sourcing and forestry operations. In Uruguay we run a pulp mill and plantation operations. 

UPM Pulp serves the global market with a comprehensive range of sustainably produced eucalyptus, birch and softwood pulp grades for a variety of tissue, specialty paper, board, printing and writing paper, and other applications. What you will do 

  • Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative market data from various sources 

  • Support team with analysis, presentations and insights about markets, customers, competitors and other relevant stakeholders 

  • Track, analyse and report on trends and developments affecting the pulp industry and UPM  

  • Participate in development projects as a project team member 

Who you are 

  • You have a relevant university degree, e.g. in economics, business administration, mathematics or bioproducts 

  • You have innate curiosity, excellent team working skills and willingness to take initiative 

  • You are customer oriented and determined to maintain excellent professional relations with different internal and external stakeholders 

  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and in writing)

UPM Graduate Programme is a paid fixed term position, but our aim is to continue the journey with you even after the programme.
