What you’ll do

During your Graduate path you will get exposed to various work processes and positions around data management and analytics. You will contribute to projects for building and scaling data platform, and scaling that up for business reporting and analysis purposes. You will learn about BI and analytics, as well as data modelling and data storage solutions. In addition you will gain experience on data and process mining used for improve business process performance.

Based on your interests, the job scope can include for example topics around:

  • Data architecture
  • ETL (extract, transform and load) processes
  • Dashboards and visualization techniques
  • Descriptive and predictive analytics
  • Process modelling and analysis
  • KPIs definitions and performance management

As a Graduate, Processes and Data you will be mainly located in Helsinki, Finland. During your 1 year trainee path you will have additional assignment abroad.

Who you are

  • You have a master’s degree from a relevant field of studies (e.g. major in information technology, information management or finance and accounting)
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • You take initiative and have high motivation
  • You adapt easily to a new and continuously changing international environment. Previous international experience is considered as an asset
  • You have excellent team working and interpersonal skills, but you are also able to work independently
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and writing)
  • You are fluent both in spoken and written English. Other languages are considered as an asset
  • You are ready to travel

UPM Graduate Programme is a paid fixed term position, but our aim is to continue the journey with you even after the programme.
