Job description

We are looking for Summer Trainees to Global Quotation Support team in Tampere.

Global Quotation Support manages quotation-related requests for spare and wear parts in Minerals Services business area and consists of the following functions:

•  Receiving & Price estimation: receives incoming tickets from Metso Order Desks and Customer Service teams and focuses on giving sales price & lead time estimations in cases where data is readily available
•  Technical support: provides technical problem solving for cases where customer is not sure what is needed or requested parts are not active Minerals Services offering i.e. part identification
•  Cost estimation: estimates supplier lead time, cost information and price based on defined rules when information is not available to enable sales price and lead time to be quoted fast

The duties of the Summer Trainee can be modified depending on Trainee's skills and interests. 

To Succeed

Summer trainees will perform daily tasks in above functions and cover for our team members during holiday season. We expect you to have 2 – 3 years of studies in Business or Engineering and excellent IT skills but most importantly you are a hard-working team player with excellent communication skills in English.
