Danfoss is looking for a Purchase Ledger Accountant to join Danfoss’ Financial Shared Services team in Vaasa, Finland for a round one-year time limited position. Danfoss Financial services function is a customer service-oriented organization providing financial expertise for all business functions in Finland. We are a highly skilled and motivated Financial Shared Service team that works as a team to achieve our shared/common targets. You will have a unique opportunity to be a member of a team responsible for executing the financial transformation in/of a SAP FICO environment.

Your duties include:

  • Liaise with businesses and other support functions, external service providers and external vendors
  • Handle both material and indirect purchase invoices to (the) workflow including GL bookings and Vat handling
  • Manage GR/IR clearing account and prepare period-end closing tasks 
  • Be involved in SAP change projects 
  • Monitor AP related interfaces from other systems to SAP 
Background and skills
You are an account(ant)s payable professional with an account(ant)s’ specialist background interested in developing and streamlining AP process in Basware IP and later on in a SAP S/4 FICO environment.
You are a solid team player and you communicate fluently both in writing and speaking in English and Finnish. SAP FICO expertise is an asset. You have/hold the patience/structure to prepare day-to-day routine tasks systematically.
