As a Sales Engineer at Supermetrics, you will collaborate with the Sales team to help pitch the Supermetrics products and value proposition to existing and potential customers from the technical point of view. You’ll also be actively helping our clients with their tech-related issues by locating the source of their problem and fixing it when possible and helping them to achieve perfect reports with Supermetrics tools.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you should understand the fundamentals of our entire data stack, and be able to quickly learn new data systems, so you can support our sales team by being the product expert when evaluating how to work with a new prospect.

You will achieve and keep up with the required technical knowledge by actively handling customers technical issues with the rest of our Technical Support team. 

Your skills include:

• 5+ years of experience in IT related sales engineer or technical support role
• Excellent skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, on a call or whiteboard or using presentations and demos
• True enjoyment in helping customers
• Tech-savvy mindset
• Ability to act as the interpreter between technical and non-technical parties
• Strong logical thinking on problem solving ability 

We also value, but do not require:

• Experience in DWH or ETL
• Backend engineer, or IT enterprise services background
• Experience in online marketing and/or spreadsheets
• Drive for proactively improving customer experience and sales processes
• Experience in PHP and/or API integrations
