KONE Identity and Access management and security services team is looking for an Trainee to help us improve application security inside KONE.

Main responsibilities:

As Trainee in the team you will work with topics such as:

• Developing the identity management solution further with market leading identity management solution SailPoint IIQ (Java based) as part of the agile/DevOps team
• Explore and implement improvements to the DevOps working model. In technical front we use Azure DevOps as our main platform and integrate various tools there to enable automated testing, integration, build and deployment. In hosting we use both AWS and Azure in both server based as well as serverless mode depending on the area. In manual processes we use Lean methodologies for process handling.
• Privileged Access Management processes and tools design and deployment to KONE infrastructure and to applications
• Common authentication solutions deployment to KONE applications
• Active directory accounts and groups migration to the common identity management solution
• Providing Code security scan and dynamic application security scanning services to applications
• Implementing application security as well as application security services to the DevOps pipelines (based on Azure DevOps or Jenkins) of the applications

The exact scope of work depends on the actual background and experience of the trainee. You have an opportunity to take responsibility based on your attitude and commitment. In earlier summers we have had trainees acting as project managers, developers, team leads, taking over overall architectural responsibility of an area etc., the actual scope of work depends very much on you.

In your work you will have a chance work closely with our digital services and development teams both in Espoo and Hyvinkää, in addition to some of our global business stakeholders.

Skills, education and experience:

We expect you to have interest and perhaps already some job experience in information systems engineering, Application security, DevOps, Identity and Access management concepts and tools, ITIL processes, and cybersecurity as a whole. You are at least halfway through your studies in the field of computer science, data science, cybersecurity or related area.

Most importantly you are energetic, keen on exploring and learning new things. Good command of English is a must to succeed in our international working environment.
