We are now looking for a

Program Manager

to join Aalto University School of Business. In this position, you will be responsible for the administration of the Information Technology Program (ITP). We wish that you could start as soon as possible. The position is fixed-term until 31st of December 2020.  

Your role and goals

As Program Manager your task is to manage the administration of the Information Technology Program (ITP). ITP is a summer program, which has been running since 1995. The program attracts students from multidisciplinary backgrounds and offers the students an opportunity to get immersed in digital themes. Challenge-based learning is an important cornerstone of the program and we work with Finnish companies to offer students challenges.

In particular your tasks will include:

• Negotiating and managing company projects
• Planning teaching and learning within the program
• Recruiting and supporting visiting faculty
• Supporting student employee team
• Facilitating student project work together with companies

You are part of the Department of Information and Service Management and work closely with the Aalto Summer School and other support services at Aalto University. You will participate in University-wide development of future-led learning.

Your experience and ambitions

• Master’s degree in a relevant field to business, information technology or service design
• Solid understanding of teaching and learning and their support processes
• Fluent written and oral communications in English; knowledge of Finnish language is considered an asset
• Ability to network with faculty and companies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive “can-do attitude” and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and take responsibility
• Experience in teaching is considered an asset; especially challenge-based learning
