What we offer You

We offer summer internship/trainee positions in our research department during the summer of 2020 in which students get the opportunity to participate and get insight into our daily work. Joining us as a summer intern means a unique opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice. Moreover you will be exposed to a global organization that develops cutting edge technology that truly changes the world.

We believe that an internship should give you a more in-depth knowledge about our organization via presentations and other fun activities during the summer. During your internship, you will work on challenging tasks that are based on real business needs and are relevant to your skill sets. Furthermore, you will get the chance to get to know other summer interns and create your own network within Ericsson.

What we look for

We are looking for students that are curious about the ICT industry and are interested in research. Successful applicants are driven, open minded and have the ability to work well independently as well as together with others. Students from their first three years of studies from ICT related programs such as computer science, IT engineering, applied physics or electro engineering will have an advantage. Being the fifth largest software company in the world also means that passionate programmers are highly attractive to us.

We offer summer intern positions within the following research areas:

• Internet of Things
• Cloud technologies
• 5G and 6G Wireless Connectivity
• Security

If you have certain fields of interest, please state them in your application together with a short explanation of why you want to work with them. We will do our best to match you with the right assignment depending on your interests and qualifications. We prefer that you collect your CV, current grades and Cover letter written in English into one document and clearly define your technical knowledge and interest. Good communication skills in English is a must.
