Master Thesis in System Simulation

Job Summary: 

The aim of the work  is to model the dynamics of an elevator, including the mechanical system, electrical system and the controller. The model will be used for the elevator development and testing, with the focus on decreasing testing time by using hardware in the loop and increasing lifetime of elevator by simulating and mitigating malfunctions.  

Essential Job Duties:

• Develop the system simulation model for an elevator
• Perform analyses tests as necessary to verify the model
• Support hardware and software design teams to ensure compliance with system design
• Support system-level test implementation

Minimum Job Requirements:

• BSc level electrical engineering and majority of the Master studies completed with a focus on simulation theory/systems.
• Understanding of digital communication and signal processing principles
• Strong programming skills (Simulation X, MATLAB, C/C++, Python)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in developing link and system-level performance simulations
• Passion for learning, persistence when facing challenges, an ability to follow issues through to completion with systematic and active orientation
• Effective written and oral communication skills
