We are now looking for a  

Logistics Development Specialist  

to strengthen the Supply Service Organization in KONE Elevator Factory in Hyvinkää. 

As a Logistics Development Specialist, you will plan and execute Elevator / Escalator / Component logistics strategy with the help of a support team and assistants. Logistics Development Specialist ensures that deliveries to KONE country units are handled, stored and distributed safely, cost-effectively, and on time. You will assure that the work performed follows generally stated objectives and is completed with high quality, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities 

• Planning and execution of Logistics in accordance with Global Trade Compliance 

• Data based analysis and optimization of logistics chains 

• Finding the best logistics solutions for the projects 

• Supplier performance monitoring in daily activities 

• Logistics cost control, optimization and management 

• Executing RFQs within KONE contract logistics partners 

• Managing logistics development projects 

• Continuously improve supply chain processes focusing on service and value 

To be successful you should have: 

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. level technical/commercial degree 

• Deep knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, export operations, international trade, trade compliance (AEO etc.) and cost management. Import operations experience is a plus. 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

• Knowledge of optimization and consolidation of different logistics chains 

• Ability and willingness to work globally 

• Strong communication and influencing skills in English, other language skills are an asset (e.g. Finnish, French, German, Chinese)
