We are now looking for an energetic and experienced Global Sales and Marketing Manager to drive our rapidly growing sales and lead marketing globally. The location for this position is Tampere, Finland. The role reports directly to the Vice President Business Unit Automation.

Your mission

In this role, you are a member of the management team of the Business Unit (BU) Automation and you will contribute to the overall business strategy. You lead the Business Unit sales execution and marketing actions across all AutoMine® and OptiMine® solutions together with the sales teams globally. You will also have a team of marketing specialists reporting to you. The following areas are included in your scope of responsibilities:

  • AutoMine® and OptiMine® sales management and execution together with Sandvik sales area teams
  • Active sales opportunity screening and win plan creation and execution
  • Sales organization development, ways of working and roles and responsibilities.
  • Sales process, systems and tools development and operation (CRM)
  • Sales budgeting and forecasting
  • AutoMine® and OptiMine® marketing planning and execution
  • Market trends, customer and competitor behavior monitoring

Your character

We are looking for a strong and energetic sales and marketing leader with at least ten years of experience in similar roles. Master or Bachelor level education is required for the role. You have a result-driven, hands-on mentality, and a creative and passionate approach on selling high technology products and solutions in an industrial environment. Effective international networking and fully fluent (native level) communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English is required. Mining industry experience is highly appreciated.
