Aalto Startup Center is a hybrid accelerator based in Aalto University offering both incubation and accelerator services to early stage and growth-driven startups. Our Business Accelerator program is actively engaging with startups in the Aalto’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and activities such as A Grid, Startup Sauna and the European Space Agency Business Incubator.  

Aalto Startup Center is looking for a Design Intern interested in working with startups in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.

What we expect from you:

• A can-do-attitude and great communication skills
• Willingness to show the way to startups on how to implement Design in their business
• Willingness to work with people who have no idea about design
• Ability to teach the importance of Design to startups
• The “pay it forward” attitude and willingness to share your experiences and make an impact.

You will also help with the design needs of Aalto Startup Center and European Space Agency business incubator.

The work would start beginning of February. Aalto Startup Center is flexible in the work allocation but ideally, the designer would be able to work at least 50 % or more. The duration of the position is less than 4 months.

Aalto Startup Center’s working language is English and based in Otakaari 5 in AGrid.
