We are looking for a R&D Project Manager at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors in Vaasa. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of R&D projects for Low Voltage Electrical Motors. You will lead and coordinate multifunctional global project teams as well as and you will be responsible for realizing projects within the agreed scope, schedule and budget. We offer you challenging role in global R&D organization, where you have good opportunities to grow in manager role by working for one of the leading Low Voltage Motor manufacturer.

Your responsibilities

Working in global product development projects, as R&D Project Manager, from the concept stage through to finished products. Actively collaborating with project team members, global R&D team, other functions and stage holders in the organization. Ensuring cost effective results in accordance to project specifications, related standards and safety regulations. Your background

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering or a relevant field. A few years’ work experience in Project Management or product development projects. You have excellent teamwork, good negotiation and communication skills. You are service oriented, systematic and proactive. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish. Good MS Office skills is required. Good knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical Motors is beneficial. Experience of Lean practices are highly appreciated.
