We are looking for a Summer Internships to our Length Metrology team in Espoo. You will work with our experts in the field of high accuracy metrology, optical measurements techniques or machine vision. You will be part of our cross-functional engineering team (optical-, electrical - and mechanical design, assembly, calibration, testing and software design), which develops prototypes and measurement methods.

Main responsibilities:
Participation in team’s research activities in length and industrial measurement science in several of the following
• Building measurement set-up’s in the laboratory
• Making laboratory measurements with different set-ups
• Analysing measurement data
• Software development

You don’t have to have competence for all above mentioned points. Responsibilities will be selected based on your background.

You are an university student in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics (close to completing your BSc) and have
• Excellent university grades
• An interest in manufacturing techniques, mechatronics, electronics, physics, mathematics and/or programming
• Good verbal and written English
We are especially looking for enthusiastic minds with strong motivation to grow and develop, so you don’t need to tick all of the boxes right now!

You are a hard good worker, ready to take responsibility and willing to work independently as well.
