We are now looking for several

Software Developers

to build the future of intelligent and connected control systems for elevators together with us.

We have positions open in teams who develop drive control software and safety related software with C.

In both teams you will be developing software for elevator control system which is then further connected to IoT Cloud enabling KONE to offer not only traditional elevator solutions but also modern digital solutions to customers. Working in any of our teams you will get unique opportunity to develop software which moves people globally not only in residential buildings but also in the finest landmark buildings in big cities all over the world. Those big cities and buildings in them are becoming smarter which provides very inspiring future opportunities to us.

To be successful in these roles, you’d have B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree or equal knowledge in software engineering and experience on embedded software development with C/C++. We have been on a transformation journey for being Agile and Lean organization for already quite a long time and therefore experience on agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban) is very much valued as is ability to work in multi-cultural environment where diversity is appreciated. Having experience on continuous integration and test automation is also highly valued. For safety related software development, experience on developing regulated software (e.g. medical or IEC 61508 based) would be benefit. We also consider a plus having any experience on electronics either due to work or hobbies.

All positions are located in KONE’s globally biggest R&D Center in Hyvinkää which is only 35 minute drive from Kehä I or one hour with bus from Kamppi.
