We are looking for

Summer Trainee – Testing/System Designer

to work on the future of broadband network solutions in our office in Kaarina (Turku area) or in Tampere.

Teleste is the market leader in Europe for cable access products. Our engineering knowhow is based on our experience on manufacturing professional signal transmission equipment for well over 50 years. Our own product development, manufacturing, support and service are all located in Europe - for the benefit of our customers.

As Summer Trainee - Testing/System Designer, you will challenge yourself while looking for bugs and problems in the system in advance of the product's completion. Your work is mainly focused on verification of device functionality as part of a larger system. You will participate in the product development processes and projects at Teleste’s R&D. and will support the development of our world-class products.

You are motivated, active and initiative. Patience will also play a significant role in your work. As a person you are a sociable team player, but you are also capable to work independently. 

We hope that you have

• Engineering education, minimum two years of studies completed
• Knowledge of telecommunication networks and technologies, especially IP networks
• Experience in Linux environments
• Knowledge of automation and testing tools and previous experience, for example, using the Robot Framework and Python
• Problem-solving skills
