We are looking for

Network Operations Center and Network Design Engineer

to strengthen Teleste Advanced Network Services team in Kaarina (Turku area), Finland.

You can be already an experienced Telecommunication engineer or a student looking for diploma work as long as you are inspired by technology that provides TV and data services to home.

As a Service NOC and Network Design Engineer your main task will be maintaining cable TV systems from network operation center. Cable TV networks are maintained with several remotely operated tools. The other part of the role as Network Design Engineer includes planning and documentation of Fiber to the Home (FttH) or cable TV network.

What we expect from you

The position requires good communication and team working skills, as well as knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• A preferred education is Telecommunication or ICT
• Basic knowledge of Linux command line skills
• Basic knowledge of IP network
• Capability to understand complex systems
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and basic English skills
• Interest in working directly with customers
• Willingness to work in shifts
