We are looking for an Engineer in SW Testing to strengthen Teleste Information Solutions SW development team in Tampere, Finland. If you are skilled in SW design and have a passion for testing, you might be the person we are looking for!

As SW Test Engineer, you will be responsible of planning, designing, execution and reporting product/component level tests for Passenger Information Systems. To complete your tasks, you will design virtual test environments, automatic test scripts and needed system simulation tools.

You will take responsibility of testing in dedicated products and system components. You can design your own test methods, tools and environment. Your tasks can be tailored based on your skills and capabilities. 

You will be part of our dedicated Test and Validation team, and you will work daily in the scrum team together with our SW Developers.

Job requirements

The position requires good communication and team working skills, as well as knowledge and experience on the following areas:

• Experience with Linux
• Robot Framework based test automation skills
• Python scripting skills
• Shell scripting skills
• Good written and spoken English

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is considered as bonus:

• Knowledge with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience in testing or ISTQB certificate
• Experience in agile team work
