About this opportunity

• Ensuring local perspectives are appropriately considered in the activities of the second line of defence risk function
• Representing the second line of defence risk function in the Branch Management Forum (where applicable), in Country Business Area Forums, and where relevant, in quarterly credit risk review meetings
• Reporting periodically to the Risk Committee and the Board Risk Committee on country risks
• Handling country risk issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• A very experienced risk professional with a strong understanding of risk and banking
• Have a strong analytical mindset
• Hold high integrity and trust as your core values
• Have a fact-based approach to decision-making
• Have excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, i.e., possess the capacity to work and engage across business areas and with different levels of the organization
• Are proactive, independent, pragmatic and solution oriented

• Substantial expertise with a successful track record in risk management and control within banking
• Fluency in both the respective local language and in English
• Have strong communication skills in both the local language and English
• A solid economics, finance or equivalent academic degree
