We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the core game development team in Helsinki.

You will be helping the team to take smart decisions for the development of the upcoming Tactical PC Shooter by integrating and processing huge amounts of data and providing efficient calculations and reports based on the information stored.

Responsibilities

• Building functional data pipeline both in and out of the game to be able to gather, analyze and report data to improve the game
• Building strong relationships with the development team and management and working on increasing their hunger for data
• Helping developers by checking hypothesis about the game, gathering data about potential competitors and working on building the players’ personas
• Being proactive and keeping looking into the new methods on how to improve the game through data and analyzes
• Reporting to the management team the state of the game from the gameplay, player and business perspectives
• Mentoring Jr BI team members and helping them growing in their data mining expertise

Requirements

• Perfect understanding of how to build and maintain data structures in and out of the game
• Great experience in processing and visualizing data in Tableau or similar software
• Good knowledge of and experience with database languages like SQL
• Proactive approach in looking for new ways of analyzing games and gaming market
• Experience with life operations of Game as a Service

The ideal candidate will also have

• Degree in mathematics, statistics or business analysis
• Experience with Big Data
• Experience with Amazon Data Services
• Experience with Game as a Service on PC platform
