Process Industries Group is now looking for a

(Senior) Cost Estimator

to enforce our Project Controls team.

Your main duties will include
• Leading and facilitating the cost estimation process, compiling cost estimates for various projects and phases, preparing basis of estimate
• Communicating cost estimates data and analysis to relevant stakeholders
• Working side by side with project management to execute cost control in most efficient way including typically:
     • Setting up the project budget and cost control procedures
     • Tracking project actual costs 
     • Forecasting remaining costs
     • Communicating the status of project costs and reporting deviations to budget
• Participating in cost estimation and cost control competence development

We are expecting the following qualifications from you:
• Degree in Engineering or Economics
• 3-10 years of experience in cost estimation and/or cost control in industrial investment projects
• Knowledge and direct experience in execution projects as well as on site experience are highly valued
• Excellent leadership, communication and inter-personal skills to ensure a smooth communication with client’s organization and within the project team
• Strong self-leadership skills, proactive and persistent attitude, hands-on mentality and desire to further develop in your role and grow within the team
• Fluency in English is essential, Finnish language and other languages are an advantage
• Readiness to travel and relocate
