Associate Art Outsourcing Manager
Housemarque is looking for an Associate Art Outsourcing Manager for an unannounced project!

THE JOB
We’re looking for an artist with an organized mind and interest towards or experience in managing. You will be working with Art Manager at day-to-day outsourcing, including reviewing artwork that comes in. You will be helping in setting a high standard for art. You will also work together with all art departments, helping them with work coming in, and maintaining documentation on it.
You should be a 3D artist, first and foremost, and be effective in both written and oral communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check art assets quality, write and illustrate feedback.
- Understand the art pipeline and art style and maintain both with outsourcing.
- Work with in-house art team, producers, art manager and outside vendors.
- Communicate feedback in a clear, effective, collaborative, and timely manner.
- Occasionally, if there is more time, work as an artist on the project.
EXPECTATIONS
- 3+ years’ experience in game art asset creation with a variety of software packages including some professional 3D software, could be Modo, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc. Also experience in ZBrush (basics), Photoshop and Substance Painter.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Office tools skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and equivalents).
PLUSES
- Art degree (BA, MA, etc.)
- Experience with JIRA, Hansoft and other Project Management Tools
- Experience with Unreal Engine
This is a fixed term contract for a duration of 6 months, based in Helsinki, Finland.
