Description of the position

You will be part of our Quality Service Team in Information Management, being responsible for the continuous improvement of IM quality processes.

  • As validation manager you will act in the projects in close co-operate with the project manager and project team members. You are responsible for managing validation and testing operations to verify the delivery against the user requirements. You are responsible for the efficient validation process and ensure that the principles for the testing and validation are well known in the project team, so that the validation will be done in systematic, professional and documented way.
  • You work closely with cross-functional project teams and IM Quality team. You participate in the new system projects and/or lifecycle projects of the existing systems. Your responsibility is to plan the testing and validation strategies for the systems based on Orion's principles and instructions (SOPs)
  • As a Quality Service Team member you are responsible for the continuous improvement of the validation and testing in co-operation with CS-QA and IM Quality team to ensure the compliance with the regulatory requirements and the efficient validation process. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining the validation instructions

After the internal orientation period you will be part of Future 2025 project, which is Orion Corporate wide program planned for years 2021-2023 and it aims to transform business processes and the ways of work at Orion. The program is supported by the implementation of new IT systems and tools for example a full renewal of our current SAP. As a result, we have better end to end transparency and information available to support our daily decisions. In the future employee experience is enhanced by new tools and ways of working.

The position is full-time and you will be based in Espoo, Finland.

Description of the unit

Orion Information Management (IM) employs 80 people, of which approximately two thirds are located in Espoo. Other locations are Turku, Kuopio, Hanko, Mumbai and Nottingham. We work in close cross-organizational collaboration to support Orion business in achieving its strategic targets not only by ensuring the availability of IT services but also by constantly looking for new innovations to match the current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • Preferably a university degree or strong experience of IT technology and / or validations
  • Good experience in testing and validation
  • Good skills in written and verbal Finnish and English
  • Good digital (IT tools) skills
