The Nokia Cloud Mobile Gateway performs the gateway functions within the packet core. It is built to help you address the growth of mobile broadband, deliver new Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Type Communications (MTC) services, and a foundation for 5G.
We are looking for motivated candidates interested in a position in Espoo, in the R&D department of IP Routing & Packet Core. You will act as a team member in our test team for next generation Mobile Gateway products.
As a member of a dynamic and multicultural team based in Espoo, you will be testing the Nokia Cloud Mobile Gateway software. Our lead site is in Mountain View, California and we have operations both in Europe and in North America.
You will be responsible for maintaining & developing test scripts, verifying new features, debug and solve problems and working with cloud based product verification environment. Your duties include requirements analysis, detailed test planning, test case implementation of new functionality and improving verification for existing functionality.
You have a B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Software Engineering or equivalent discipline and have an interest in enhancing this qualification with experience gained in a professional software engineering environment.
In addition to strong analytical mindset, knowledge of mobile networks standards, CVS/GIT environments and about SW testing are strong assets. Software skills you may have earlier experience from few of the following areas: Tcl, Python, bash, Linux, Routing Protocols, Ethernet and TCP/IP Networking and possibly on OpenStack or VMware cloud environments.
