Right now, I am looking for an experienced Business Architect in my team. My name is Mikko Koljander and I am responsible for the device and software services in group unit Common Products and Services, Product Area IT Services.

Our unit is responsible for development and support of Telia’s common commercial Device as a Service and Software as a Service -products sold in all our countries.

Your responsibilities as a Business Architect will include:

• Architectural ownership of core business processes at our service backends:
  • Responsibility to map our products’ business processes with process & information model and to secure their implementations to the supporting IT systems
  • Lead role for planning, developing, and implementing cross-country production architecture together with its interconnections with service assurance, business enablement, customer engagement, and party management
  • Responsible of having full ownership of responsibility for how the products are technically implemented (IT systems and technical platforms) and how the production / service delivery process runs
    • Responsibility as a product platform’s IT Solutions Manager and agile development role as a Solution Architect
    • Representative and key contact for Telia Group IT enterprise architecture and development partners
• Subject matter expert of your product area:
  • Serve as a product evangelist to the technical community
  • Innovate and plan how to utilize AI and data lakes to analyze product’s performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
  • Take the responsibility for creation and maintenance of product descriptions and documentations

You are also expected to:

• Contribute to sourcing and supply chain data asset creation and maintenance, including data architecture, data integration as well as dashboard and web application development for the long-term analytics capability
• Collaborate with larger Telia data science community to identify and implement advanced analytics solutions

You have:

• University degree in computer science, industrial engineering and management or similar field. A degree in Supply Chain Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered an advantage
• 5 - 10 years of experience from data asset and architecture development, master data management, analytics, and business process management
• Capability of identifying problems and opportunities and creating analytical solutions for complex problems
• Strong social skills to navigate through complex international organizations and engage with external and internal people on both high and low level
• Experience in enterprise architecture modelling and information management frameworks / tools (e.g. TOGAF ADM, BiSL, UML-modelling)
• Experience in DevOps & agile development (e.g. Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe)
• Experience in business intelligence tools (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Tableau), data storages (SharePoint, AWS S3, Azure blob) and analytics tools (e.g. Python, SAS, R) and Service Integration and Management (e.g. ITIL) highly appreciated
• Experience from working in an international matrix organization role with multiple country stakeholders
• Knowledge of sourcing, financial services and supply chain management is considered an advantage and telecom industry experience will be valued
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, fluent Finnish and/or Swedish will be valued
