We are now looking for Developer, Data Driven Controls to whom working with all parts of the data pipeline is familiar territory. We develop and maintain engine control systems for all Wartsila engines and to various energy and power control systems using simulated and real targets. Your typical day will include

- Collecting engine data from various sources, wrangling the data, analysing data, developing model, deploying model to environment, test it in simulated environment and engine, industrialize it to product.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting issues in production systems

Required skills

- Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Autonomous Systems, Robotics or similar
- Strong skills in data science in general or data driven controls
- Knowledge with agile development practises DevOps, especially continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery 
- Good teamworking and communication skills
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Experience with the following seen as an advantage: Matlab/Simulink, Atlassian toolset & Git
